15 Young Bermudians
Our interns get hands on work experience in a local business or charity while learning and practicing marketing fundamentals and social media management within a host organization. They get to build connection to other young Bermudians during the 6 week internship and develop new skills and experiences that will help them define what they want to do after high school.

15 Host Organisations
Host organisations (businesses and charities) mentor one youth Intern during the 6 week program. Interns and hosts learn from each other as the interns help their host with their social media activities. This partnership enables the youth to experience different career possibilities, gain confidence and build skills that will serve them in their careers after high-school. They also get to learn from our hosts and often build long-lasting mentor-mentee relationships.

6 Weeks Summer Internship
During the 6 weeks the intern spends 3 days a week with the other interns developing skills in marketing and social media management with the SkillCraft team, and 2 days working within their respective host business or charity, practicing their new skills by helping to manage the host-organisation’s social media activities.
How the internship works
Host-Businesses or Charities host a SkillCraft intern in their organization 2 days a week for 6 weeks this summer. During this time, the host will mentor their intern while they help develop and share social media content for the organization during the internship. The idea is a give & give experience where the young person helps the organization with social media while they get exposure to the organization’s work, industry and to the working world itself.
Interns learn some marketing fundamentals and how to manage social media for a business or charity and practice these skills in their respective Host-Business or Charity 2 days a week. They also spend 3 days of in-person sessions with the other interns, where they learn from our professional marketing consultant and other guest speakers, put their skills to work for your Host-business or Charity, and get 1-on-1 coaching sessions to support them in their personal and professional goals.
