— Young people are often offered the opportunity to stay on at their host business. In 2024 7/15 were offered further ad hoc work. In 2023 5/15 were offered further ad hoc work.

Develops key workplace behaviours

— We track 7 workplace behaviours, research says are essential to succeeding in making positive entries into the world of work. They are willingness to learn, interest and enthusiasm, punctuality, drive, problem solving, taking initiative and openness to feedback.

- Over the past two years, interns ability to perform these behaviours has gone from “sometimes” to “often” across the board. We see the greatest increase in interns ability to take initiative.

Prepares mentors to receive non traditional first time job candidates and elucidates their value.
